Teulada / Moraira is a peaceful place, a small community at the Costa Blanca with important and active touristic services throughout the year. Especially Moraira, a former fishing village, is really called " The pearl of the Costa Blanca". Without question, the greatest attractions of Moraira are its wonderful beaches and numerous small bays. Between the port and the watch-tower of Cap d´Or, you find a wonderful beach surrounded by rocks. All beaches of this community have been awarded the blue EU-flags and offer the attraction of all kinds of watersports. Today the traditionall port of Moraira is the business and tourist center. The marina has 550 moorings for yachts up to 20 metres. In the centre of Moraira you can find attractive shops, restaurants, bars, ice-cream parlours and much more. You can take part in their historic celebrations all over the year and enjoy all kinds of sport, like golf, biking, walking etc. which is on offer around Moraira. After enjoying the beach and cooling off in the sea you may wish to enjoy one of the many fiestas for which Spain is renowned all over the world. In the Teulada/Moraira region you will find different fiestas taking place throughout the year. In preparation the local people bake, cook, make fabulous costumes and organise huge fireworks displays. The two most important Fiestas are: San Vicente Ferrer which takes place on the first Monday after Easter Monday, and Moros & Christianos which is held the second weekend in June.Everyone is invited, so just join in and enjoy yourself!
